GetMedia
GetMedia reads Artist, Song Title, Album and Year of release information from MP3 files and writes it to a text file and/or Excel file so you can database your music quickly and easily.
Navigate to the required folder via the folder pane. Clicking the GetMedia button will produce a list of all the MP3s in that folder and create the file(s) in that location. The file location will be the root folder when subdirectories are included in the
search.
The files can then be opened for the data to be managed as required.
Files without tag data will be included in the file(s) produced, but marked with
"No Tag Data".
Note: For Windows 2K and above.
For text files, GetMedia assumes Notepad is installed in its default location of C:\Windows\Notepad.exe
It seems Excel 2007 doesn't like to co-operate.
